In order to quote a book or another bibliographical reference (which in in Zotero), you can use le field "Use this from too find a Zotero-ID" (when you work on the page "modifier le formulaire". You just have to write the first letters of the name of the author and then you select the title: For instance: Shalvey : you find the title of your thesis and you'll see a ID : X9B3JY6A. In fact, the 3 €€€ inform the computer-system, that you are going to put a reference in a footnote. You must have one at the beginning of your citation and one at the end of it. The 3 £££ are not necessarily but they could be used to give more precisions like the number of the page.

When you don't want to quote a book or a bibliographical reference, but just give an information in a footnote or the reference of a source (like me with the marriage of Pappert-Trier, you have to use the same process with the €€€.
