She passed her medical exams in Giessen on 5 September 1941, and in 1942 she joined the NS Ärztebund. Her dissertation was supervised by Prof. Pötzl at the Wiener Universitätskliniken for nervous diseases. She then worked in the Sanatorium Rekewinkel bei Wien as a Hilfsärztin on nervous illnesses; from there she applied to work at the Reichsuniversität Straßburg.
She passed her medical exams in Giessen on 5 September 1941, and in 1942 she joined the NS Ärztebund. Her dissertation was supervised by Prof. Pötzl at the Wiener Universitätskliniken for nervous diseases. She then worked in the Sanatorium Rekewinkel bei Wien as a Hilfsärztin on nervous illnesses; from there she applied to work at the Reichsuniversität Straßburg.
In November 1942 she was hired as a Volontärassistentin in the Kinderklinik at the Reichsuniversität Straßburg. In January 1944 she was promoted to Assistent Ärztin, and retained this position until November 1944.
